The GDHA will host a House of Delegates Business meeting on Friday, July 10 at the Homewood Suites in Macon, Georgia. Friday night, July 10, we will also host a dinner celebration honoring our President Wendy Blond.

Five hours of Continuing Education are available on Saturday, July 11 at Central Georgia Technical College, Macon Campus. Here you can learn of the many exciting happenings occurring within the dental hygiene profession.

Topic: “Pain Management-A Review for the Dental Hygienist”
This course will review the physiology of pain and treatment modalities for the dental patient, including injectable and topical medicaments, patient considerations and medical contraindications. The anatomy of innervation will be reviewed as well as tips for documentation.

Leah Garcia, DA
Topic: “Hands on Oral Anatomy Review”
This course will provide hands on head and neck anatomy review using manikin with 28 teeth, tongue, and anatomical sites.

Topic: “What’s new and exciting in the dental field”
